Setting Up Your Agency for Success in 2025
Did you know that 91% of people fail to achieve the goals they set in January?Let me show you how to trick your brain into staying on track and achieving what you really want this year.
Ever decide you want a specific car, and suddenly, you see that make and model everywhere? On your commute, in parking lots, at the kids’ swimming lessons—it's like they’re following you.
You’re not imagining it. This phenomenon is thanks to your brain’s Reticular Activating System (RAS). The RAS helps filter the millions of things you see daily, highlighting what matters most.
Today, I’m sharing a simple 4-step method to use your RAS to achieve your goals in 2025.
Step 1: Be in the 9%
Start small—choose just three annual goals: one business, one family, and one personal. Write them down where you’ll see them daily—this activates your RAS, keeping your goals a constant priority even after the January buzz fades.
For me, that means writing my three goals on Page 1 of my notebook every year.
Step 2: Analyze to Achieve
Next, break down your goals into actionable steps.
For example:
Goal: Generate $100k/month in recurring revenue (MRR).
What’s Needed: My service is $2k/month. I need 50 clients paying $2k/month to hit $100k MRR.
How: My conversion rate is 50%, so I need 100 qualified appointments to get 50 clients.
If I already have 2 clients, I need 48 more. I’ll start with a free outreach strategy until I secure 5 clients, then reinvest revenue into paid ads to scale further.
(There is a little more thinking behind all this but hopefully you get the overview. If you want more help be sure to join the free webinar, details below )
Step 3: Quick Wins
Break the goals into smaller, manageable tasks:
Example Continued:
48 New Clients would mean…
Quarterly Goal: Secure 12 new clients.
Monthly Goal: 4 new clients.
Weekly Goal: 1 new client.
Breaking it down makes everything more achievable. Now, I can focus on weekly tasks like sending emails, making calls, attending events, and posting on social media to hit my weekly target.
Step 4: Make Time
Finally, time-block your calendar. If a task isn’t scheduled, it likely won’t get done. Time-blocking ensures your tasks align with your priorities and keeps you on track to crush your goals.
I focus on having separate calendars for each goal and time blocking my whole day. If you throw in Alex Hormoz’s Manager and Maker method you are onto a winner!
Don’t miss the chance to make 2025 your best year yet.
